Manley Hardy Abbott was born on 19 Dec 1884 in Verona Island, Verona, Hancock, Maine, United States, son of Isaiah Judson Abbott (1841 - 1917).

Manley (21) married Eva Margarite Patten (17) , daughter of Samuel Myle Patten, on 3 Mar 1906 in Maine. Their son was Linwood Oscar Abbott (1909 - >1993).

Manley died in 1959 in Verona Island aged ~74. He is buried in Village Cemetery, Verona Island.
