Biography

Walter Emerson Abbott was born on May 9, 1914, in Troy, Vermont, to Winnie and Edward Abbott, their first child. [1]

Walter married Betty Gott on August 18, 1937 in Boston, Mass. They had seven children, six biological and one adopted. [2]

Walter died on May 14, 1960, in Smyrna, Georgia. He was buried beside his wife in Georgia Memorial Park. [3]
