Biography
Burton was born 8 Feb 1928 and he was Executed by Asphyxiation-Gas on 15 Mar 1957. [1]
- In July 1955 Georgia Abbott, Wife of Burton reported that she had found personal effects belonging to Stephanie Bryan in their basement.
- Burton W. Abbott was tried for the Rape and Murder of 14 year old Stephanie Bryan in Nov 1955. Although all the evidence against Burton was circumstantial he was sentenced to death in California's Gas Chamber. He was incarcerated in San Quentin to await execution and was Executed in March 1957.
- He body was donated to science to UC Berkeley School of Medicine.[2]
