Biography

Martha was born in 1811 and baptised in 1814 in Long Buckby, Northamptonshire, England. She was the daughter of William and Rebecca Abbott.[1]

She married Thomas Matthew Stubbs.[citation needed] In 1851 the couple lived in Kilsby, Warwickshire, where they had a grocery business.[2] In 1861 they lived in Northampton, Northamptonshire. Thomas was a commercial traveller.[3]

Martha died in 1867 at the age of 54.[4]

Research notes

The probate for Martha's brother, Thomas, shows that she married Thomas Matthew Stubbs.[5] Fuller-8857 11:18, 31 July 2019 (UTC)
