Biography

Emily  Charlotte  Abbs was born on 19 November 1865 ^{[1] [2]} in Buxton Norfolk England, the daughter of William Abbs and Amanda Copland ^[3] She was baptised in Buxton on 7 February 1866 ^[1]

In 1871 and 1881 she lived with her parents and older brother in Buxton Norfolk. ^{[3] [4]}

She married Robert Maidwell in March 1891 ^{[5] [6]}

The Maidwell family moved to Croydon in Surrey where Emily was living in 1911 with her husband and 3 children ^[7]
