Biography
When William Marion Abel and his twin sister Mary Jane 'Janie' were born on December 7, 1857, in Cherokee, Alabama, their father, John, was 24, and their mother, Sarah, was 22. He married Lue Anette 'Nettie' Privette in 1878. He died on September 25, 1922, in Callahan, Texas, at the age of 64, and was buried there.[1]
