On March 3, 1697 or 1698, she married in Norwich, John Hyde, son of Samuel and Jane (Lee) Hyde of Norwich, and a first cousin of her mother's. They settled in Norwich and had nine children, all born in Norwich:
Her husband John died on July 26, 1727, at the age of 59.
Experience (Abell) Hyde died in Norwich on October 24, 1763 or 1765. She was buried at Old Norwichtown Cemetery, in Norwich. Her gravestone reads, "Here Lies ye Body of Mrs. Experients Hide Departed this Life ye 24 (illegible) 1765 in Her 91st Year of Her Age."
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Experience by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
