Biography
Eugene Abell was born in Appalachia, in Kentucky.
Eugene was born on 9 October 1893 in Adair County, Kentucky. He was the son of Joseph Irvin Abell and Mary Elizabeth Sanders.[1][2]
He married Lucia Mann on 11 May 1918 in the Casey Creek community of Adair County, Kentucky. They were married by H C Motley at his residence[3] They were the parents of four children:[4]

- William R Abell
- Johnnie Lee Abell
Eugene died on 24 August 1959 at the hospital in Danville, Kentucky. He was buried in the Roley Cemetery.[5][6]
