Biography

1888: Kenneth George McKay Aberdeen was born on the 29th of December 1888^[1] in Guildford^[2], Victoria, Australia. He was the eldest son of Kenneth McKay Aberdeen and his wife Johanna Sophia Mills of Leongatha, Victoria.

1920: On the 19th of April 1920^[3][4] Kenneth married Dorothy Ellen Piesse at St George's Cathedral in Perth, Western Australia. Dorothy was a daughter of Arnold Edmund Piesse and his late wife Margaret Mary Chipper of Katanning, Western Australia, Australia. Dorothy was given away by her brother Mr Edward Piesse.

1935: Ken's wife Dorothy passed away on the 10th of July 1935^[5] in Northam, Western Australia and is buried with their infant daughter Anne Aberdeen in Northam Cemetery^[6], Northam, Western Australia.

1937: On the 6th of February 1937^[7] Ken married Kate Florence Davies^[8] at St George's Cathedral, Perth^[9], Western Australia. Kate was the only daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Herbert Davies (nee Allnutt) of "Ford House", Bridgetown, Western Australia.. The bride was given away by her brother Herbert Coleman Davies.

1952: On the 8th of April 1952 Kenneth George McKay Aberdeen passed away at his home in Cottesloe, Western Australia having been ill for more than a year^[10]. He was survived by his wife Kate, sons Eion and Kenneth Aberdeen and daughters Kathleen Douglas-Smith and Janet McKay Aberdeen. He was cremated at Karrakatta Cemetery^[11], Karrakatta, Western Australia.
