Lorene was born on November 16, 1903 in Carroll County, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Alfred Abernathy and Martha Reynolds. She married George Grady "Grady" Lassiter on February 15, 1925 in Henry County, Tennessee. They had a son. She passed away on April 23, 1956 in Oliver Springs, Tennessee.
