Martha Abernathy was born about 1811 in North Carolina, United States.
Martha (25) married Micah Casteel (20) (born in 1816 in Missouri Territory) on October 1, 1837 in Perry, Missouri, United States.[1] Their son was Shadrack Monroe Casteel (1838–1903).
Martha died before 1850 in Missouri, United States, aged 38. Neither she or her husband are on the 1850 census, and their children are living with her widowed mother.
