Abernethy-286 and Abernathy-1977 appear to represent the same person because: This person Abernathy-1977 was grouped with members of the 42nd with unknown mother. He is William Abernethy and a duplicate to Abernethy-286. They both showed up as a possible match for my gedcom upload William Abernethy.
