Biography
George was born in 1837. He is the son of James Ablard and Rebecca Madison.
George, child of James Ablard & Rebecca Ablard, was baptised on 26 May 1839 in Skirbeck St. Nicholas, Lincolnshire, England.[1]
In 1841 he was living, with his family, in the Old Poor House in Skirbeck, Lincolnshire, England.[2]
In 1851, age 14, George was an apprentice, living at home with his family.[3]
George's marriage was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1858 in the Rotherhithe district.[4]
In 1861, age 24, he was a hairdresser living with his wife Sarah and baby daughter Sarah in Pennyfields, Middlesex, England.[5]
In the 1871 census George (age 34), Hair Dresser, was the married head of household in City of London, Middlesex, England.[6]
In the 1881 census George (age 44), Hairdresser, was the married head of household on High St, Poplar, London, Middlesex, England.[7]
