OBITUARY:
Published in: Arkansas Democrat (Little Rock, Arkansas), 01 Sep 1908, Tuesday, Page 3
Willis Ables, a member of the Bartenders’ League, died at 1 o’clock this afternoon, at a local hospital, after an illness of several weeks’ duration. He was 36 years of age, and is survived by his father, mother, four brothers and three sisters. The parents reside at 1215 Pulaski street.
The brothers are J. W. Ables of Wayne; Cross, Samuel and James of this city. The sisters, Mrs. Cora Martin of Wayne, Mrs. Emma Waldrep of Hugo, Okla., and Miss Emma of Little Rock.
The funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon, from the home of his parents, and interment will be in Oakland. The members of the Bartenders League will have charge of the funeral.
