Biography
John was born in 1843. He was the son of Hardy Abney and Martha Roan. [1] [2]
He passed away 6 May 1862. He was a member of Co. D (B) 1st AL, TN & MS Confederate Army. He was a Prisoner of War and died at Camp Randall, Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin. [3]
