Biography

Peleg, son of Daniel Aborn and Mary Arnold was born in 1779[1]. Peleg Aborn was a ship Captain and married Anne Sissmore, daughter of Broadmore Sissmore[2] in England in 1809 [3] [4]

Children include:

  1. Henry Marshall Aborn 1809[5]
  2. Leivie Aborn 1812[6]
  3. John Sismore Aborn 1814[7]
  4. William Wellington Aborn 1814[8]
  5. Anne Eliza Aborn 1816[9]
  6. George Broadfield Aborn 1817[10]

Although a sea captain who married in England, Peleg remained a resident of Providence his entire life.[11] [12] [13]

He passed away in 1859.[14][15]
