Ignace Abraham dit Desmarais (written as Demarets dit Abraham at marriage) was born 2 April 1714 and baptised twenty days later (22 April) at the church of Saint-François-Xavier in Saint-François-du-Lac, Nouvelle-France as the son of Pierre Abraham and Marie Josephe Jouiel (Joyal). [1] [2]
Ignace (named as Demarets dit Abraham, son of Pierre Demarets dit Abraham and Marie Jouiel), married Charles (Marie Joseph Charlotte) Anticosti, widow of Vital Caron, on 14 April 1749 in Saint-François-du-Lac. [3] [2]
Ignace passed away on 4 May 1751 at Sorel. [2]
