According to the household record, widow Catharina Abrahamsdotter was born in Axberg parish in 1759. She arrived to Skinnskatteberg from Arboga in 1791, serving at Skinnskatteberg manor.[1] Catharina Abrahamsdotter Haglund married soldier Henrik Brun 6 October 1793.[2] She had three children with Henrik, two sons and one daughter who died in infancy.[3] Catharina's soldier husband was taken prisoner of war in 1807 and never returned home.[4] In several later household records it is noted that her previous husband died "in France".
Catharina Abrahamsdotter remarried 23 June 1811 and moved to Emthyttan, where her third husband, widower Olof Olofsson lived.[5][6][7]
Cajsa died 17 April 1836. In this last household record as well as in her death record she is misnamed Ambrusdotter.[8] The death record recapitulates her three marriages: first with soldied Mats Hagman, who died in the field, second with Henrik Brun, who also died in France, last with day labourer Olof Olofsson who died earlier the same year. The record states that she had two sons and two daughters (both dead) in her second marriage. She was a quiet and hardworking woman, who had support from the parish in her waning years. She died from old age, aggravated by a stroke.[9]
