Biography
Marte was a daughter of Abraham Ansteinson Stenger and Gunhild Torsdotter.
Christened 10 Aug 1810 in Drangedal parish, Bratsberg county, Norway. [1] At the time her parents lived at a cotter's farm (Norw.: 'husmannsplass') named Stenger belonging to the Heldal farm in Drangedal.
