↑Moree Gwydir Examiner and General Advertiser (NSW) Thu, 6 Jan 1927, Page 5 Wedding - ABRAHAMSEN— NEEVES. All Saints' Church was the scene of a very pretty wedding on Monday December 27. The contracting parties were Nellie Marjory, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Neeves, of East Moree, and Christian, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Abrahamsen, also of Moree. The Rev. N. M. Clout officiated. The church was tastefully decorated by the girl friends of the bride. The service was fully choral. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, was charmingly gowned in ivory mariette, heavily beaded with chrystal and diamente. She wore a beautiful cut tulle veil, kindly lent by Mrs. H. Bulluss, of Inverell, and carried a shower bouquet of roses, daisies and asparagus fern, tied with tulle and ribbon streamers. The bride was attended by Miss Clem. Duncan, who was attired in pink georgette, trimmed with satin ribbon and silver beads, with crinoline hat to tone. Her bouquet consisted of pink roses and asparagus fern, with ribbon streamers. The bridegroom's gift to the bride was a xylonite set and to the brides-maid a solitaire diamond broach. The bride's gift to the bridesgroom was a set of gold sleeve links. Mr. P. Jeffree, of Aberdeen, carried out the duties of best man. During the signing of the register Miss Phyllis Brown sang 'Because', Miss E. Brand presiding at the organ. The wedding breakfast was served at the residence of the bride's parents, Mrs. Neeves receiving the guests in black beaded marocain, with hat to tone, the bridegroom's mother wearing navy and gold mariette, with hat to tone. The usual toasts being duly honoured, the happy couple left by car on a motor tour, the bride travelling in a frock of bois de rose morocain covered with a black satin coat, and hat to tone. The presents were numerous and costly, including many cheques.
