Biography
Ref letter from George Combs to John Davison Abrams regarding Charles Abrams:
"The fact that Jacob appears to be the father of Captian John Abrams apararrently his second son, is really the basis for the belief that he himself was the son of John Abrams. It would seem perfectly pobable that he might very well name his child after his own father, Jacob Abrams, born March 17, 1765, does not appear on the 1790 or 1800 census. We have no records of his marriage, and these facts lead to a possibility that he may have been for a time located elsewhere. later returning to these parts, and having married elsewhwere. He dies in Dec 6, 1834, and in his petition for probate of his will, the executor, Robert Davison states that his hiers were: Nancy, the son wife of John Dorlon: Susen the wife of Charles Abrams"
