Biography

Arthur was born in 1888.^[1] He was the son of John Abrams and Allie Jacobs.^[2] He married Adelaid Shearer in Gilbert Station, Iowa on 14 Mar 1911.^[3] He registered for the WWI Draft in June 0f 1917 stating that he was a self-employed farmer with a wife and child.^[4] By 1930, he was a widower living in Azusa, California with four children:

Ruth born ca. 1919 in Iowa

John Abrams born ca. 1922 in Iowa

Isa Abrams (daughter) b. ca. 1923 in Iowa.

By 1940, he had remarried. His second wife's name was Mary Louise (Caspari) Abrams. They were living in El Monte. His son John was living with them at the time of the census.^[5] Arthur passed away on June 10, 1954 in Los Angeles, California.^[6][7]
