Biography

They had no children of their own, but raised as an adopted daughter, a niece of Mr. Logan's, and daughter of his sister by her marriage to Joseph Sziver, a native of Hungary, who returned to his native land during , or immediately following World War I. She adopted the name of her foster parents as: Elida Logan, b. 16 Nov 1916, m. Russell James Shaffer (b. Colman, SD). Russell was in the US Navy in WWII.
