Abraham was born in 1854, the son of Isaac Abrams (1832-) and Pauline Solomon (1830-).

He married Eva Brown (1861–1947). They had the following children:
Albert A. Abrams 1887–1950
Florence Abrams 1889–1960
Lillian S Abrams 1895–1980
Leonard Marcus Abrams 1897–1952
He passed away in 1920. Buried at Mayfield Cemetery, Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
