On the 7th of May 1817, in the Collegiate Church of São Bento in Ribeira Brava, I performed the rites of matrimony to join Manoel João, the legitimate son of Manoel João and his wife Anna Maria, natives of this parish, with (the bride) Francisca Maria, legitimate daughter of João de Abreu and his wife Maria da Corte, both natives of this parish. Witnesses: Fernando Britto Seidas and Manoel da Corte. Vicar: Olivera Bento do Joaquim da Correa Pitta.
