Biography

Leonardo was born about 1773 ^[1], a son of Vincenzo Abruzzo and Anna Artale^[2]. He married Donna Angela Giambalvo in 1798 ^[3] and they had 2 known children. Leonardo was widowed before 14 June 1823. He may then have married Maria Serra. He may have died in 1846 at around age 73 ^[4].

The 1843 marriage record for son Vincenzo refers to him as 'Maestro Leonardo',and says that he was a shoemaker by occupation.
