Margaret Absalom was the daughter of Daniel Absalom and Ann Owen his wife. Daniel was originally from Puncheston whilst Ann was from Spital. Margaret aged six can be found on the 1881 census at the family home at Dreen Hill, in the old parish of Steynton Pembrokeshire. Also at that address is her brother David born 1879 at Steynton Pembs. Margaret is working away from home at the time of the next census in 1891. She is working at the home of Florence Mary Phillips at Rock Cottage City Road, in the parish of St Martin Haverfordwest. Beyond the census of 1891 I have not been able to trace Margaret.
