Youngest son Joseph François, called François, born in Assumption Parish in July 1818, married Marie Clarisse, daughter of Maurice Simoneaux and his Acadian wife Geneviève Landry, at the Plattenville church, Assumption Parish, in April 1833; Marie's mother was a Landry. They moved to Lafayette Parish on the western prairies. [1]
