26 April 1975: Sterling E. Achenbach, Long Road, Myerstown RD 3, died yesterday in the Lebanon Valley General Hospital after a year's illness. He was 66. He was the husband of Helen A. Hass Achenbach. Born in Schuylkill Haven, he was a son of the late William and Bertha Schaeffer Achenbach. He was retired from the Lebanon Packaging Corp. He worshiped in the Lutheran faith and was a member of Page Lodge 270, F and A.M. In addition to his widow he is survived by four children, Radelle H., wife of Francis Reed, Woodbury Heights, N.J.; Glenn E., Philadelphia; William E., Myerstown RD 3, and Richard H., Lancaster, and 11 grandchildren.
