Biography
Daughter of Winder Hillman Acker (1841–1922) & Sarah Ann Bishop (1843–1922), Emma Ellen Acker was born on March 28, 1868, in Leesburg, Texas. She married Joseph Monroe Abel on October 11, 1882, in Hunt, Texas.[1] She died on April 30, 1967,[2] in Rising Star, Texas,[3] at the age of 99, and was buried in Eastland, Texas.[4]
