Biography

Note

Martha was baptised 20 Apr 1817. She was the daughter of John Ackerman, twine spinner, and Mary according to Bridport Parish Register. [1]Josiah was baptised 9 Feb 1817, son of John Ackerman, sack weaver, in the same register. There is possibility (but I found this unlikely) that there were 2 different families. Another possibility is that they were twins but baptised at different times due to ill health.
