Biography

George Ackers (1883- ?) was born in Toxteth, Liverpool, Lancashire on the 5th December 1883 ^[1] and christened on the 30th December 1883 at St Peter, Liverpool. He was the son of George Ackers and Clementina Mangan. ^[2]

In 1891 the family lived on Rathbone Street, Liverpool ^[3] but by 1901, George is in a lodging house in Everton, Liverpool and is a labourer in an oil mill. ^[4]

He married on 20th October 1903 at St Timothy, Everton to 18 year old Sarah Beardwood ^{[5] [6]} and the following month baby Harriet was born. She died 1 day later along with her mother Sarah and they were buried together in Everton Cemetery. George disappears after this.
