David's (2014) DNA test processed by FamilyTreeDNA.com reveals that his Ethnic Makeup is 98% European - (38% British Isles, 22% Southern Europe, 20% Western and Central Europe, 18% Scandinavia) with 2% Middle Eastern - (2% North Africa).
Family Tree DNA April 2017 Updates to myOrigins: European 90% - 86% British Isles, 4% Southeast Europe (consists of present day populations from the areas of Italy, Greece, and the western Balkan states from Bulgaria to Croatia), 8% Jewish Diaspora Shepardi (descended from the Jews who lived in the Iberian Peninsula, Spain & Portugal, in the late 15th century).
How my Mother's Scandinavia content rose to 15% from 5% while mine went to 0% from 18% baffles me.
