Biography

Jefferson Davis Acree was born 21 Jun 1862 in Alabama to Francis H. J. "Frank" Acree and Elizabeth Cox.[1][2][3][4]

He married Bettie Lou[3][2][4][5] Segrest[6] and had the following known children:

  1. Frank James Acree was born 04 Jun 1885 in Alabama, died 10 Jun 1961 in Sherman, Grayson County, Texas and was buried in West Hill Cemetery in Sherman.[6][2][3][4][5]

In 1910 Jefferson was living in Grayson County, Texas and his nephew Loran B. Acree who was born about 1895 in Texas was residing with him.[2]

Jefferson died 14 Apr 1938 in Sherman, Grayson County, Texas and was buried in West Hill Cemetery in Sherman, Grayson County, Texas.[1]
