Biography

Caroline Acreman was born in about 1832 in Charlton, Somerset.

Caroline married Robert Mogg in 1854 in Langport district.

Their son Brian George Mogg was christened on 4 Oct 1857 in Charlton, Somerset.^[1]

Their daughter Olivia Mogg was born in 1866 in Charlton. Her birth was registered in the third quarter of 1866, in Langport district.

Their daughter Henrietta Mogg was born in about 1871 in Compton.

Caroline died on 16 Dec 1904, aged 73, on Compton Common. She was buried in the Watts Cemetery in Compton.

Note - the year in the memorial inscription is wrong; her death was registered in 1904, and the burial record gives her death date as 16 Dec 1904. Also the burial record and death registration give her age as 73, while the gravestone gives it as 74 (which it would have been had she lived till 1905, of course).
