ACTON —Suddenly, on Tuesday, January 2, 1990, Richard W. Acton, Lemberg, Saskatchewan, age 73 years. The Funeral Service will be held In Grace United Church, Lemberg, on Saturday, January 6, 1990, at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Catherine Moore officiant. Interment in Ellisboro Cemetery. Mr. Acton was a life-long resident of Lemberg and district. Involved in many aspects of community life, he was active in the Co-Operative movement, the Lions Club, the fire brigade, the curling club, and the United Church. For a number of years he was a registered seed grower. He was predeceased by his wife, Myrtle in 1948; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Acton. He is survived by his daughter, Constance, Regina; his brother, Thomas (Jean), Victoria, B.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews. [service not transcribed]
