"At a monthly meeting, held the 25th of the 1st month 1796... to this meeting came Samuel Acton, and Sarah Hall, and declared their intentions of marriage with each other. Joseph Reeve and John Wistar is appointed to inquire into his clearness in relation to marriage and report to next meeting. The young man's mother, being present, was consenting."[1]
Research Notes
From birth date, this Samuel's mother would have been John's first wife, Susannah (Thompson) Acton.

However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Samuel:
Acton-1402 and Acton-565 appear to represent the same person because: Clearly only one Samuel married Sarah that day. I'm not which birth date is more reliable.
