Mary Jane (Acton) Vachon was born on 9 Mar 1900 in Indiana, United States, daughter of Horton Trimble Acton (1874 - 1942) and Louisa (Miller) Acton (1880 - 1961).

Her sister was Esther Marie (Acton) Worley (1898 - 1970).

Mary (20) married Ferdinand Alphonso Vachon (27) (1892 - 1956) on 12 Aug 1920 in Wells County, Indiana. Their children were:

1. Patricia J (Vachon) Schmitt (1921 - 1994)
2. Betty Jane (Vachon) Schwartz (1922 - 1997).

Mary died on 3 Jun 1972 in Indiana aged 72. She is buried in Fairview Cemetery, Bluffton, Indiana.
