Reginald was born in Nelson in 1872. He was educated at Nelson College and was an early student at Lincoln Agricultural College; graduating with a Certificate of Agriculture in 1891 [1]
Reginald managed Molesworth Station for his father and in 1905 moved to Wilden Station, near Heriot in South Otago. The station was subdivided by the government in 1925 for returned servicemen. Reginald sold the remaining portion of Wilden Station in 1930, after a long and protracted battle with the government.
He later moved to Western Australia and died in Perth in 1958. [2]
There is considerable information on Reginald Acton-Adams in the book: Wilden: the Story of a West Otago Farming Community by David Keen (published in 2017).
