Biography
William George Acworth was born[1] in Gravesend, Kent in December 1861. He was the son of William Acworth and Rachel Bennett.
In the 1871 England Census[2]William George (age 9) is living with his parents Edward Acworth (age 34 and working as a Tallow Chandler" and Rachel Bennett at 163, Parrock Street, Milton, Gravesend, Kent. His siblings Rachel (age 13), Elizabeth (11); Edward (age 7) and Louisa (age 5) are with him.
William George Acworth married[3] Kate Susan Wyatt in September 1884 at Gravesend. They had 2 children: Cyril (born 1887 - died 1888) and Gordon William (born 1895 - died 1917).
In the 1911 Census[4] William George (age 49 - Occupation - Bank Manager) and Kate Susan (age 49) are living at 19 Forest Drive West, Leytonstone, Essex with their son Gordon William (age 16).

William George Acworth married again to Helena Foskett in 1937. George was 76 and Helena 55.
William George Acworth noted as a retired Bank Manager in 6 Feb 1930.
William George Acworth died[6] on 1 April 1941 in Exmouth.
