Ellena was baptized 20 Jan 1621/22 in Kirk Ella, Yorkshire as daughter of William Asie, secondo (i.e. the 2nd of his name in the parish, not indicating son and grandson of the same name)[1]
She was buried 4 Dec 1641 in Kirk Ella as Ellena Asie with no indication of a marriage (see page 46 of same reference) .[1] No parish register entries exist between those 2 dates for this name and her father seems to have died in 1627, possibly why she was not listed as "daughter of William".
She is most likely the daughter of William "Acey" and Margaret Newmarche, NOT of a second contemporaneous William Acey and Margaret Haiton, emigrants to America. This is based on Ellena's baptismal date being only 2 months from a known daughter of the emigrants (Ruth Acey, baptized 14 March of the same year[1] meaning they were not twins as those are usually baptized together with a notation of twin status. Therefore Ellena seems to belong to the non-emigrant family.
Work is ongoing on the William Acey profile; the one who married Margaret Newmarche has not yet been created on wikitree. A summary of the Kirk Ella parish registers related to the 4 William Aceys of the late 1500s and early 1600s is attached to the profile of the emigrant William Acey
