Biography
Samuel Adair was born in Niagara District in 1832. He was the son of Joseph Adair and Mary Elizabeth Coulter. He moved to Gore of Downie with his parents. He married Sarah Towers in Perth County in 1860. He was a carpenter. The family moved to Portage du Prairie, Manitoba in the 1880s. He passed away in Lakeview in 1923 age 91.
