Biography
Benjamin Laferty Adair, a son of Rev. Joseph Alexander Adair and the former Miss Sarah Laferty, was born in Chester County, Colonial Pennsylvania. His parents moved the family to Laurens County, South Carolina around 1755.
Benjamin was buried September 1823 in Duncan's Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Laurens Co., SC.
