Research Notes

An attorney born in Alabama and living with brother John's family in 1880 Census. Also states father's birthplace Alabama. 1870 Census shows him living alone in Munfordville, Hart, Kentucky, lawyer, age 46, born Alabama, and either very next door to the jail or in it?

CSA, 2nd Lt., Company D, 6th Kentucky Mounted Infantry.

Enlisted Nov. 1, 1861 at Munfordville, Ky Resigned Commission April 29, 1862, due to bad health.
