Alice was born in 1863. She is the daughter of William Adair and Ann Lockhart.
She emigrated in 1880 and settled in Cheltenham, Pennsylvania. Alice was employed as a Domestic Servant by R Barclay Jones.
In 1888, Alice married Thomas Dean Jr from Donegal, Ireland who had also arrived in America in 1880. They settled in Allegheny and Thomas was employed as a Brakeman. Five children were born in their marriage, Thomas, William, Annie, Bessie and Oliver.
Alice Dean died in 1928 aged 63 and is buried at Allegheny Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Thomas Dean was the informant of her death.
