Biography

Williams parents are unknown. Sibling of John Adair. Veteran of War of 1812, Veteran of Black Hawk War. Married first Jennet Brown [needs source]. Married 2nd Rebecca Taggart, former wife of John Lacey. Father of twins William Miles Adair and Mary Jane Adair. He passed away in 1856 and is buried in the Old Bethel Cemetery Sparta, in Randolph County, Illinois.^[1]
