Biography
He is the son of Jesse Adams and Margaret Maggard. [1] He may have married 3 spouses: Maragret Bentley on about 26 Aug 1848, they may have had 2 children. Mary "Polly" Ann Clay on 28 Feb 1852, they may have had nine children. (NOTE : some trees have him also married to Elizabeth Brown, believe this is not corrrect, as he was married to Polly Clay at the time of some of the children's births in Kentucky and some of Elizabeth's children were born in Missouri. Research shows her husband is a different Moses: Moses J. Adams 1832-1883 died in Wilson's Creek, Missouri)
