Biography

Ruth was born 20 June 1665 in Medfield, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Peter Adams and Rachel Newcomb.^{[1] [2]}

Ruth married Amos Fisher 22 December 1691 in Dedham. The marriage was performed by Samuel Sewall, Esq. of Boston.^{[3] [4]}

Amos was a widower with three children who lived nearby in West Dedham [Westwood near the Dover line].

Amos died in Dedham [Westwood] in 1735.

Ruth moved to neighboring Needham, undoubtedly to live with her daughter Ruth Hunting, who lived that portion of Needham that is now Wellesley.

Ruth died in Needham [Wellesley] 26 Nov 1745.^[5]
