Note: "Claude Adams worked for furniture stores most of his life as a repair man. Although, while in Los Angeles, he worked for the Los Angeles Street Car Company as a mechanic. Also, before his retirement he worked independently building small houses and repairing houses. He did not attend church on a regular basis until the last five years or so of his life at which time he started attending the First Assembly of God Church with his wife at Terrell, Texas and attended until his death. He served in the Army during World War I and most of his service was in France. Information furnished by Lallie Emyline Adams McGuire."
