Sarah Adams was born about 1840/1841 in Ireland.[1][2] (about 1845 per 1880 US census[3])
She immigrated to the United States.
Sarah Adams married William Austin on 22 Apr 1860 in Houlton, Aroostook, Maine, United States.[4]
In the 1860 US census, Sarah Austin (20) was living in Littleton, Aroostook, Maine, with husband William Austin (28), son George H Austin (2), and with Robert Austin (18) and Isaac Chase (16).[1]
In the 1880 US census, Sarah Auston (35) was widowed, (born in Ireland) living in Littleton, Maine, with father John Adams (55) and children Mary (6) and Robert (4), both born in New Brunswick, Canada.[3]
In 1901 Canadian Census, Sarah Austin is listed as widowed, living with her son David and his family, in Kings Ward, Fredericton, NB, born 1 Apr. 1836, 64, born in Ireland; Year of Immigration 1860.
Sarah, wife of William Austin, died on 2 Feb 1927. She was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Fort Fairfield, Aroostook County, Maine, United States.[2]
